No. The Academy is structured education first. You complete the 9 modules, develop your thesis, and build your confidence — before you write a single cheque. The pathway to co-investment (Associates → Partners) only begins after you graduate. Many of our best members enrolled with curiosity and deployed capital 6–12 months later.
Entirely. The Academy is fully online via Circle and built for the European market as a whole. UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Greece are all covered — the EU tax wrapper module specifically addresses EIS/SEIS (UK), FCPI (France), and the Greek deduction. The community includes members from across Europe, Asia and the US.
The 9 video modules total approximately 6 hours of content, completely self-paced. You can complete them in a weekend or spread them over 6 weeks — there's no schedule requirement. The live Office Hours sessions (founding members only) are monthly and entirely optional. Lifetime access means there is no deadline.
The Academy issues a Blossom Digital Academy completion certificate, which is a legitimate programme credential. We are in active discussion with ALBA Graduate Business School about co-badging from Cohort 2. The certificate is accurate and defensible; we use the term "certified" to describe BVDA-issued completion, which is distinct from external regulatory accreditation.
The founding bonus is a priority observer invitation to a live Blossom Ventures deal pitch presentation and DD discussion — not a co-investment commitment. Co-investment access requires separate KYC and suitability onboarding under MiFID II/AIFMD, which happens at the Partners tier. The observer invitation is educational access to a live deal process: the real thing, not a simulation.
